Returns and refunds
Every piece is made to order. When you place an order, the garment is produced for you, then shipped. Production takes 2 to 5 business days before it leaves the maker. This page sets out how returns, withdrawals, and refunds work, and the rights you hold under European Union and Hungarian law.

The 30-day return window
You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to request a return. The garment must be unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition, with any tags still attached. We ask that you keep it as it came to you.
To start a return, email hello@andreblunt.com with your order number. We will confirm the return and send instructions. Once we receive the garment and check its condition, we issue your refund to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 14 days of our receiving the returned item.
For a return made under this 30-day window, the cost of return shipping is yours, unless the garment is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered. In those cases we cover it. See below.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU and Hungary)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a separate statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, with no reason given. This right is set out in Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and, in Hungary, in Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.) on the detailed rules of contracts between a business and a consumer.
When the 14 days begin
The 14-day period runs from the day you, or a third party you name (other than the carrier), take physical possession of the goods. For an order of several items delivered separately, it runs from the day the last item arrives.
How to withdraw
To exercise this right, tell us your decision before the 14 days are out. A clear statement is enough. Email hello@andreblunt.com with your order number and a line stating that you withdraw from the contract. You may use the model withdrawal form, though you are not required to. We will confirm receipt of your notice.
What happens after
Return the goods to us without undue delay, and in any case within 14 days of telling us you withdraw. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
We refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal. Where you chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard option, we refund only up to the standard cost. We may withhold the refund until we have the goods back, or until you provide proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first. The refund goes to the original payment method, at no charge to you.
Reduced value
You may handle the garment as you would in a shop: to check its nature, characteristics, and fit. If the garment is diminished by handling beyond that, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
These are always covered. If a garment arrives damaged, carries a manufacturing fault, or is not the item, size, or colour you ordered, we put it right at our cost. Choose a replacement or a full refund, including the original shipping. Return shipping is on us.
Tell us within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@andreblunt.com with your order number and a photograph of the issue. The photograph lets us resolve most cases without your needing to send the garment back.
Beyond this, as an EU consumer you hold a statutory two-year right to goods that conform to the contract, under Directive (EU) 2019/771 and Hungarian law. A garment that is faulty or not as described falls under that right. Nothing on this page limits it.
Sizing
Each product page carries a size guide with measurements. Read it before you order. Because every piece is made to order, we cannot offer free size exchanges as a matter of course. A garment ordered in the wrong size can be returned under the 30-day window or the 14-day right of withdrawal above, on the terms set out there. If the size you received does not match what you ordered, that is a fault, and we cover it.
How refunds are paid
Approved refunds return to the original payment method. Once we issue the refund, the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. We refund in the currency of your original payment.
Exceptions
The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your individual specification or clearly personalised, as provided by law. Our standard catalogue garments are made to order but are not personalised in this sense, so the right of withdrawal does apply to them. Where a future item is genuinely bespoke or personalised to you, we will say so clearly at the point of purchase, and the exception will apply.
